Would you like a preview of a drama soon to take place on the rim of eternity? Then plan now to see and hear, "Heaven's Gates and Hell's Flames." This true-to-the-Bible gospel presentation revolves around the Great White Throne Judgment of Revelation 20. People from all walks of life are portrayed as they stand before God the Judge and ask if their names are written in the open Book of Life. Some are not registered and are cast into the crackling flames of Hell. Others who received Christ as Saviour are allowed to enter Heaven.

This is one of the ten illustrated sermons Rev. Bruce Thum and the Sunshine Evangelistic Party of Indianapolis, Indiana, will bring to the Cathedral of Tomorrow during the months of July and August.

Rev. Bruce Thum, known by radio and television in the Indianapolis area and heralded across the nation as an evangelist, is a full-blooded, Cherokee Indian entitled "Big Chief Charging Bear." Ruth Thum, his wife, works hand in hand with him, arranging music and making costumes as well as directing and singing with the group.

The business and secretarial side of the ministry is handled by Charles and Violetta Verness, a dedicated brother and sister team. Together, with the Thums, they provide the varied musical program and take care of all the behind-the-scenes coordination.

Every member of this versatile group plays several musical instru-ments in addition to their ministry in song. Some of these are: the piano, organ, guitar, trumpet, saxophone, marimba, bells, accordion, trombone and violin. Occasionally Bruce or Ruth will play two instruments at the same time -an almost impossible feat. It must be seen to be believed. The Sunshine Party is almost a traveling band, orchestra, and choral group in themselves. Pictured you see them in their Indian and western dress.

Now for a capsule review of some of the sermons you find listed on page ten of this magazine: "How Beautiful Heaven Must Be" features Ruth Thum in word and song. It is a moving presentation that shows Christ walking along a lonely road calling to those who will answer, take up their cross and follow Him. The full third dimension scenery pictures heaven in breath-taking color. Hundreds have found Christ through this graphic sermon. The Sunshine Party has spared no expense nor labor in producing, "I Go a Fishin' ", featuring Chief Bruce Thum. Sound and lighting effects make this a Christ-honoring message the whole family will want to see and hear.

THE RULE OF THUM --
TO GOD BE THE GLORY

"Christ is Coming," will be presented so realistically that every person who has an unsaved loved one urged to drive from near and far to bring them to a decision for eternity!

Years have been spent in the preparation and perfecting of the dynamic sermon, "Calvary's Blackout. Thousands of dollars worth of costly props, electronic equipment, and hours of rehearsal bring to the public a living realism

Ruth, Charles, Pammy, Bruce, Violetta

of the greatest tragedy and triumph of all time-the crucifixion of Christ. This sermon has been compared by thousands to the greatest of passion plays.

"Operation Resurrection" is a continuation and climax of "Calvary's Blackout." Electronic remote equiptment will be used to produce clouds from which Christ will majestically rise as He returns to His Father. This seven-scene inspirational sermon has the touch of a religious classic.
